Last week was fun :)
Chelsi and I took our babies to swim at her in-laws' pool, and Daddies met us there after work. Afterwards, we had a small cookout at Jaime & Chelsi's house.
Chillin' with Dad.
The following day, we met friends for dinner (well, just drinks for us cuz we had already eaten) at a local restaurant called Cinco De Mayo. Our good friend Matt was in town, so it was a good excuse to drink a frozen margarita and eat chips & salsa!
Quinn is obsessed with beards. She kept reaching up to touch Matt's. She always reaches for her Papa's (Rick's dad's) beard too!
Hilarious.
We are so happy that Audrey, Nick & Caleb moved back to Michigan!! It's so sweet to see all of our babies together!
So crazy that our group has grown by three little ones in the past a year and a half!
Over the weekend, we made the trip up to Traverse City, where we did some "pure Michigan-ing" (according to Rick).
Out to eat at the Jolly Pumpkin Brewery/Restaurant on the Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City… We highly recommend it! Awesome old building and great food!
We also attended my cousin's wedding reception in Northport. The reception was held at a park overlooking Lake Michigan. We trekked down the 116 steps to the lake to take a few family pictures. It was beautiful.
Our little Quinn was such a trooper all weekend, even with short car naps and being out two hours past her normal bed time. We were so proud of her!
When we got back in town on Sunday, we went over to Grandma & Papa's house to pick up Chevy. Thanks to Aunt Ally, who watched him all weekend!
Playing on Grandma's new couch. Love this picture of the two of them!
This coming weekend, Rick and I are leaving baby with her grandparents while we head up to Beaver Island for 4 days. I am SUPER excited to have some relaxing time with friends!! I am a little anxious about leaving Quinn for so long though (at this point, we've only had two nights away from her… and not in a row), but I know she will be in good hands.
Hope everyone is having a great summer so far!
