Rick's Birthday Weekend

Friday, the 14th, was Rick's 23rd Birthday! We celebrated by going to Buffalo Wild Wings with friends. It was a fun night, we laughed a lot (especially at Rick who had a few to many beers, hehe). It's never a dull moment when you're with my husband, that's for sure.

The beginning of the night

How are you feeling, Rick?

At one point he was laughing so hard he was crying. This picture was taken right after he said "Shalom" to a guy with a beard and then told us all that, since his sister lives in Cleveland (which is a partly Jewish community), he loved Jewish people. What a dork! The guy he talked to was not even Jewish, he just had a big beard.

On Saturday, we traveled up north to Crystal Mountain for my family's late Christmas party. The whole family rented a big condo from Friday-Sunday. Rick and I decided that, instead of paying for two ski lift tickets and skis (and me having to learn how to ski), we would rent a snowmobile for 4 hours. It was really fun! We went a really long way, to a cute little coffee shop to warm up, and then back again. We also went ice skating for a little while later on that night and then checked out the pool/hot tub.

We tried to take a good picture of all the cousins... it didn't really work, this is the best one we got!

So, that was probably the funnest family Christmas we've ever had. I hope we do something like that again next year!
